The Painted Palace
The Painted Palace was formerly Palettes and Pairings which opened it's doors on Valentine's Day of 2011 as the very first paint and sip studio in Washington. Over the years Palettes and Pairings and The Painted Palace has won such awards as Best Gallery, Best Artist, and Best Birthday Party by 425 magazine for several years in a row! We enjoy hosting public paint and sip classes, parties, and team building events and can customize our packages to fit your needs.
The Painted Palace has evolved into so much more than paint and sip! We now offer both public and private parties, events, and more at our venue in Redmond Town Center as well as offsite for traveling parties and events.
Seattle's Princesses is a division of The Painted Palace offering premier princess parties and character events. Our characters are highly trained performers who specialize in making magic for you and your little ones! Invite one of our characters to your child's birthday party for an unforgettable celebration. We also invite you to join us for one of our large scale, public events featuring multiple characters who sing, dance, and make magic for guests of all ages.
We are a local, family owned business with a staff made up of an amazing group of artists, performers, and dedicated party hosts. Our staff is like a big extended family and we are lucky to have such talented employees who love making magic! Everyone on our team has extensive training through their outside lives as well as through our internal training so they are great at making your parties and events special and find great joy in making magical memories with you! Started June 2018. Alaina works for a homebuilder outside of the Palace and loves having the princesses around as her creative outlet and family. Alaina loves working with children so joining her passion for performance while creating magic is one of her greatest joys. The talent and dedication of the cast lends itself to creating the most magical experiences for our guests. Seeing their excitement as we share the stories and adventures of our favorite characters is truly unique and unmatched.
Coming from a career in circus performing and theatre arts spending her time with the princesses and their friends felt like a natural step for her. What Amanda loves most is making new friends and sharing stories and ideas with the people around her. This is why she adores working with this company and having the opportunity to spread the magic of storytelling and putting smiles on faces.
Joined us in Spring 2019.When she is not with her princess friends she enjoys reading, hiking and yoga. Just like many of the princesses she loves to be out in the great wide somewhere that is nature! What Amber loves most about this company is all the positivity it brings to the world. We are always smiling and having fun. Everyone here truly loves what they do, the determination and work ethic is contagious. We all want to bring out the best in ourselves and each other!
Joined us in March 2020. She is working on her masters in the Professional Actor Training Program at UW and is a former Disneyland performer. When she’s not with the princesses you can usually find her onstage in plays or musicals. What Asialani loves most is the chance to sing and dance and play with the little ones. Seeing their eyes light up when they get to meet their favorite princess is the most special gift. Making birthdays magical is as much fun for her as it is for the little ones.
Lead Performer, started Nov 2018. Though she has many hobbies, singing is her passion and area of expertise and you will often find her singing Broadway tunes! Brittni loves the company because it is a way for her to be a part of the magic for those who love her favorite princesses as much as she does! She fully believes that magic is real and is thankful for everyday that she gets to see the excitement and smiles that come from attending birthday parties and events with her princess friends.
Started with us in May 2019. When she isn’t with the princesses she is studying at PLU to earn her BFA in Acting and Directing with a minor in Music. Caylin loves having the opportunity to bring magic and adventure to children’s lives and to be able to show them that kindness, strength, love, and hope conquer all. She also loves being able to sing, play games, and have fun with the little princesses and princes because she knows how much that would have meant to her at their age.
Company Owner Deanna has always loved the arts, both physical and performing, and loves being able to share these with others through our parties and events. When she isn't spending time with our princesses or painting, you may find her dancing with Syncopation Dance Project or spending quality time with her husband, dog, and cat.
Started with us in spring of 2018. Emma is currently earning her master’s in special education from the UW, graduating August of 2020. Emma loves to go swing dancing and craft and has been busy planning her wedding to her prince! What Emma loves most about the company is working with all of the talented performers and learning from their strengths, it’s a great opportunity to re-live her musical theater days! Emma loves kids and in never happier than when she’s making magic for them.
Started with us in winter of 2016. When she isn’t spending time with the princesses, she can be found studying theatre and dance at Western Washington University, graduating Spring 2021. What Emily loves most about this company is getting to relish in the magic, positivity and happiness thanks to all the wonderful characters and to all the kiddos. Her favorite memories would have to be the large group events where she can spend time with all the characters she’s loved since childhood.
Started Fall of 2017. Emily also works as an assistant in the health care field with a team focused on mental health and wellness and uses her performance background for public speaking/emceeing at events/conferences. Emily loves this company because of the magical and memorable experiences it creates. She especially loves getting to twirl and sing with the little princesses and princes she meets. She feels grateful to be part of a company that brings dreams to life with a truly wonderful team.
Evie joined The Painted Palace in spring of 2020. What Evie loves most about this job is being able to share the wonderful stories of these princesses to spread joy and wonder. The themes of perseverance and hope truly touch her heart and she loves connecting with little ones through their dreams. Plus the opportunity to do some of her favorite things with some of her favorite people certainly adds to the magic!
Joined in 2019. She is a professional actor with experience at Walt Disney World as well as in the Seattle area, and also teaches voice lessons and acting classes. She also dabbles in costume design, and loves to cook! Her favorite thing about being best friends with the princesses is helping children believe that magic is real, and that their dreams can become reality. She loves to share the stories and songs she grew up loving with a new generation.
Julia has been performing since February of 2018
Joined us in spring of 2017 as an artist and performer. When she’s not busy twirling a gown or a paint brush, Katie loves to read, host trivia nights, and perform in local theatre. She also works full time as the Development Director for Youth Theatre Northwest. One of Katie’s favorite things about working for The Painted Palace is bringing the magic to life for our little guests. Sharing these timeless tales and encouraging children to be the heroes of their own stories is a true joy.
Started in April 2018 as a host. When she isn't with the Princesses, she enjoys watching movies, tv and hanging out with her cat, Keekers. Kendra graduated from the NY Film Academy, LA location where she studied Screenwriting/Film. She loves helping make magical moments, loves her Royal friends like family, and is so glad that she can help make dreams come true. Kendra is an advocate for herself and others with Cerebral Palsy and is always willing to talk about it with anyone who is curious.
When Levi isn't off on prince like adventures he is busy pursuing the stage and education. A sense of wonder and hope is something that a child needs to be successful, and bringing our guests dreams to life is an amazing way to allow youth that amazing opportunity to dream. "Seeing the smiles and answering all the questions of the life of a prince is a job that can only bring smiles to my face."
Joined is un April 2018. When she with her princess friends, she enjoys making her own gowns as an aspiring seamstress/costume designer, singing, and playing piano. Megan loves getting to share the magic with not only the little princesses, but her coworkers as well! There’s nothing quite as magical as being a part of a fairytale come to life! She loves getting to see the princesses all together at our events. One of her favorite things is dancing and singing with the little princesses!
Outside of spending time with princesses and princes, Nick is a circus performer and fitness specialist Nick is also a graduate from Western Washington University and earned his degree in dance and choreography. What Nick loves most is working collaboratively with all of his wonderful friends to put on spectacular shows. He like gathering as much royalty in one room as possible!
Joined us in Spring 2016. When she isn’t with the princesses she can be found performing in plays and musicals as a recent graduate from WWU with her bachelors in theatre arts. What she loves most about this company is the positive community that has been created with a special love and admiration for these amazing characters that are an inspiration to many. She loves spending time singing, playing games, and getting to share and experience that feeling of childlike wonder with kids and adults.
Shannon has been performing with us since Spring 2015. What Shannon loves most about this company is the magic it brings to everyone who has been a part of it. Making memories with the princesses and their friends are some that Shannon holds near and dear, and to be able to bring that joy to everyone the princesses meet brings warmth to her heart. There is nothing greater than sharing the joy these characters bring with everyone they meet!
Joined Summer 2017. When she isn’t dancing the day away with her princess friends, she is working as a Mechanical Engineer designing sustainable buildings across the West Coast. She grew up heavily involved in the performing arts and singing in various vocal groups. What Simone loves most about this company is the creative and inclusive community involved in it. She loves seeing children’s faces light up when they experience the magic and joy that the princesses bring.
Started with us in October 2017. When she isn’t with her princess friends, she is pursuing her BS in Nursing at Seattle University to become a Pediatric Oncology nurse. She loves this company for its creative and realistic approach to keep the magic alive. The extent to which the company goes to make each moment as if it were from a movie is more than noticed, and it makes every memory made feel bigger than a simple dream. Each moment of time she spends is unforgettable and full of joy.
Tatia has been performing with the Painted Palace since summer of 2018. She’s currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in musical theater from Cornish College of the Arts. She has won multiple awards from the National Association of Teachers of Singing for her outstanding performances. Her favorite part about working with princesses is spreading joy and creating lasting memories with families.
Joined us in Spring of 2019. You may also see Trent managing technology as a Sr. Systems Analyst, teaching martial arts, playing sports, or spending quality time with family & friends. Having the opportunity to share genuine, real moments with children where we can inspire and learn from each other, is one of the most meaningful draws from performing with our cast. From storytelling to confidence and self-worth, there is so much to share in how we sing, dance, and celebrate one another.
